when I change careers.
when I become
a mother.
when I leave a relationship.
when I age.
when I can’t fit into my clothes.
when I don’t
have kids.
when I stay home.
when I eat at 5 p.m.
when I do nothing.
when I am alone.
Hi,
okay so here’s
the truth.
We’re two women still figuring out who we are and what we’re doing. Who we are today may not be who we are tomorrow. And we’re okay with that.
So we thought maybe other women feel the same way and we wanted to talk to them. How did she get where she is, like really get there? How did she become who she is, what stories does she not share that brought her to today?
She’s not dead, neither are you.
I’m not dead.
What does it mean?
It may mean something different for you
than it does for us.
For us, it is a state of being.
It’s the unapologetic fearlessness, blind confidence and don’t-give-a-shit attitude that you muster when you face something—anything—that you think
you can't make it through, even if that
something is yourself.
You may find help in reflection, humor, friendship,
wine and even patience.
Sometimes, just when you think you can’t make it to the other side, whatever is holding you back actually turns into the strength that gets you through and makes you feel most like yourself and completely alive.
See, not dead at all.
